Mary L. Rose is currently serving as Deputy Counsel with the New Jersey Office of Legislative Services since April 2021. She drafts legislation while coordinating with members of the New Jersey Senate and General Assembly and conducts research for the New Jersey Legislature, effectively presenting research findings.

Previously, she was a Solo Practitioner and Law Firm Owner at Mary L. Rose, P.C., Philadelphia, PA, from February 2014 to March 2021. She developed partnerships with Mitts Law, LLC and Kaplin Stewart Meloff Reiter & Stein, P.C. to serve businesses and individuals in civil litigation cases. She worked on complex cases and handled client correspondence, drafting legal memoranda, motions, petitions, and discovery documents.

Before that, she worked as a Litigation Associate at Pepper Hamilton LLP, Philadelphia, PA, from September 2011 to January 2014, where she defended pharmaceutical companies and represented corporate clients in various litigation matters. She also served as a Mentor for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.

She was a Summer Associate at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, Philadelphia, PA, in May–July 2009 and July 2010, and earlier worked as a Private Bank Account Officer at JPMorgan Chase, Newark, DE, from June 2006 to March 2008.

She is also a copyrighter, content creator, and WordPress website developer experienced on all major social media platforms. She has contributed to legal publications and presentations and has been recognized for pro bono service, working with Philadelphia VIP and The Legal Clinic for the Disabled. She is a Pennsylvania Real Estate License holder (currently in escrow).
